educational opportunities for teachers and exciting programs
for your students:

NEW! Climate Change High
School Teacher Institute (CCHSTI).
This ten-day Institute will prepare teachers to engage
their students in climate science topics such as:
energy in the Earth system, climate, causes of climate
change and solutions to human impacts on climate
change.

Workshops:
Look for our summer institutes and other professional
development opportunities for teachers which focus on
new content, methods and pedagogy in science education.

network around teacher-selected topics at Chabot.

ASTRO
Network (Awesome Science Teachers Reflecting On
practices) is a brand new group that will provide
opportunities for K thru 8 teachers to share thoughts

K-12 field trips:
Be sure to check out all of our field trip options which
could include 90 minute classes in astronomy, earth
science, environmental science, life science, physical
science plus hands-on exhibits, our state-of-the-art Ask Jeeves Planetarium, and more.
