Chabot Space & Science Center offers year-round educational opportunities for teachers and exciting programs for your students:

  • NEW! Climate Change High School Teacher Institute (CCHSTI).  This ten-day Institute will prepare teachers to engage their students in climate science topics such as: energy in the Earth system, climate, causes of climate change and solutions to human impacts on climate change.  Download a PDF description and full registration instructions for this new Institute, or register on-line hereNote: If you register on-line, you will be contacted with instructions for the next step of the process.
  • Teacher Workshops:  Look for our summer institutes and other professional development opportunities for teachers which focus on new content, methods and pedagogy in science education. There are on-going opportunities for teachers during the school year.
  • FEAST (Fun Exchanges and Activities for Science Teachers)  offers secondary science teachers opportunities to network around teacher-selected topics at Chabot. Teachers bring share classroom tested activities and MORE……Click on the link above for details.
