Chabot offers exciting hands-on activities, workshops, lectures, and other events for visitors of all ages.

Unless otherwise noted, programs are included with general admission on a drop-in basis. Schedule is subject to change.

	Wee Wednesdays in the Discovery Lab New Classes begin January 2009! Immerse your toddler or preschooler in the wonder of science and space: and experience they will remember long past childhood!
	e=girl power2 Saturday Science workshops for girls grades 6-8 Inspiring girls to develop skills and explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Raider Rookie Zone
August 8 - December 21, 2008

Chabot Space & Science Center, along with the Oakland Museum, are Community Sponsors of the Raider Rookie Zone taking place at all Raider home games throughout the season at McAfee Coliseum.

The Raider Rookie Zone is an interactive area in which kids and families can visit during the Raider home games. Play our interactive game and pick up your Chabot: Discover the Other Black Hole passport. Get all activities punched on your passport and then submit the completed passport to win a fabulous prize to be listed here later. We will also have all kinds of information about Chabot's events, birthdays, membership and upcoming activities at the Zone.

The Raider Rookie Zone is open two hours before kickoff and is located in the east side of McAfee Coliseum, on the concourse between sections 234-235.
